It was an interesting day when I logged onto the Internet using my Wifi connection. I always get the weirdest emails to my yahoo account. Today I got one asking me to sign up for dating on-line. They really should figure out who I am being sending me dating on-line emails. I have a boyfriend, so I don't need to bedating on-line! I am sure he would not be very happy with me if he found out I decided to try dating online. Imagine him seeing my dating on-line profile. His eyes would pop right out of his head!

I have often lamented my lack of web design skills. The sad and sorry state of my homepage is well known to all by this point, I think. Well I am starting out in my sixth year, which they call Middle School. We just got done with our first full week of classes, and I am loving my computer class. So far I have learned what everything that starts with a web means. I think they forgot to mention spider web. Well one chapter was about a web designer. I think it would be fun to be a web designer, but I also know it involves a lot of concentration and hard work.

In the last summer holiday, I have studied a short course of web site development at a tertiary school. I chose this course because I was really interested in web designing. But I have never learned anything through a formal course. One day, while I was shopping with my classmates, I saw a poster on the wall, which was introducing a sort of summer course. Because of the design of the poster, it stood out and captured my eyeballs. When I looked through it, I saw a web site development course was shown on the list, it included graphic designing, web programming and database control. I knew this course was what I was looking for. And I also successfully encouraged two of my friends to enrol together.

So one day I was surfing around the web on my internet connection and then, Bam! Right there. A pop-up, not just one, but about three! It was so frustrating and guess what? After closing the first three, one more came up. So much for the program that was supposed to help block me from them, eh?
