I have long been planning to open a web designing company of my own. I have been working in a multinational software giant over the past seven years but I do not want to do this job all my life. I want to do something of my own, something big but what I have found out is that to open a new company is easier said than done. Yes, start-up companies are everywhere but with the worldwide economic recession and all major businesses reducing investments in technology, it is becoming harder to get new projects. It requires a lot of determination, dedication and diligence to start a new company and make a profit from it.

I am planning to open up a web designing company which would do web designing for smaller companies who do not have the funds necessary to get their work done by the global giants of the information technology industry. With all the new opportunities that the world wide web has on offer, these companies do not want to miss out on potential business opportunities just because they are on the wrong side of the digital divide but the problem is that because of the economic crisis, they are not yet ready to invest money into technology. However, in the last month or so the trend is showing some changes. A friend of mine who works in one such company sent me an email yesterday saying that there are talks in their company ranks about a server upgrade and a massive revamp of their website. He had told them about my plans and they were more than eager to have a discussion with me given that I would charge them less. What they want from us is some kind of revolutionary web designing which would change their stone age website into a portal with cutting edge technologies.

Maybe this the opportunity which I was looking for. Perhaps this is going to be the first project of my very own web design company. I am most eager to meet my friend and his colleagues. As soon as I got the mail, I had called another friend of mine who shared my dream of a company of his own. We had been planning to open this company together for years and now when luck was finally knocking at our doors, I had called him right away. He was so happy when he heard the news that he started crying.
