I had never originally intended to get into web design but sometimes things change. My friends Royston kept on at me about it and so eventually I became interested.I was very new to the Internet in general, only being online this past year. I'm not sure what my internet access was, but I was told the speeds were good which was fine by me.

When I first found myself on Google, I was lost for a brief moment. I sat there and realized what I was seeing on screen wasn't entirely what I was expecting. However my friends had told me what to do, and once I had gotten over how simple the interface was, I typed in web design. I knew that many results would show up on the page but I wanted to get an idea of what was possible.

I saw a few adverts for online web design courses which interested me. I had heard a lot about people studying at home and this appealed to me. The thought of being in control and studying at times I want too, excited me.Over the past year, my biggest annoyance had been the odd pop-up here and there while I was surfing. I didn't know why It was happening so I asked a few friends who pointed me in the right direction.

I found myself more and more on-line investing my time in getting used to the potential that existed now. I had now started doing some research on web design. I was intent on plotting a path for myselfMy friends were a great help and offered encouragement, but all the information I required, was right in front of me. I began to wish I'd got more involved with computers when I was younger.I eventually passed my web design course and started applying for jobs. It felt like a fresh start.

I was still amazed that in such a confined space, I was now qualified to do this remarkable thingPeople all around the world, has the opportunity to see my work. That was my initial realization. It was from that moment on that I decided to keep up with technological advancements as often as I couldI was now curious as to how far we could push it.

I had read about AI for years thinking it was impossible, but now I wasn't as certain as I was. This past year really opened my eyes to how far we have come in such a relative short space of time.
